Last years conference brought together over 250 entrepreneurs and investors from across the island. The event, which was held in Dublin focused on the challenges faced by companies trying to raise equity in an increasingly difficult economic climate. Venture Capitalist Nic Brisbourne from UK based DFJ Espirit, advised companies on the adjustments they ought to make to weather the recession successfully, and Patrick Collison, who was 19 when he sold his technology company, Auctomatic, for €3m last year presented his vision of Ireland as a 'technology and innovation hub.'
